Native Collagen Type 2 is Undenatured Collagen Type 2. It is extracted through a patented process and therefor keeps it biologically active shape. It is different and not the same as hydrolyzed collagen, which is enzymatically digested.

Undenatured Collagen Type 2 forms the basic building block of the articular cartilage and helps it to become elastic and resilient.

MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organosulfur compound and can serve as a source of natural sulfur. Like hyaluronic acid, MSM is a building material for the structural protein collagen, which is an important element in many structures of the body. Sulfur is primarily focussed on the supporting and connective tissue and is found in bones and cartilage.

Hyaluronic acid is the main component of the synovial fluid and is also found in cartilage. The Synovial Fluid prevents the cartilage surfaces from rubbing against each other. With increased stress on the joint and with increasing age, the viscosity (lubricity) of the synovial fluid changes. Due to its enormous capacity to store water, hyaluronic acid is partly responsible for keeping the cartilage elastic and flexible. We only use low molecular weight hyaluronic acid for our products.
